    Reporting to the Operations Manager, and in a safe, efficient, and professional manner the Continuous Improvement & Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with implementing, coordination, and evaluating practices to eliminate unnecessary tasking or procedures, achieve targets, and improve the overall facilities preventative maintenance program. Efficiently model, design and develop continuous improvement initiatives across the account. Will work with various business units to define, enhance, and implement process improvements in a way that adds value, removes inefficiencies, and mitigates risk. Utilizes software to create process models, build user interfaces and create forms. Tasks & Responsibilities: •Analyzing site processes and procedures. •Developing process enhancement strategies. •Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes. •Establishing norms and standards of company performance. •Monitoring organizational processes. •Collaborating with other sites to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction by finding Best Practice and implementing them at own site. •Communicating/presenting ideas and opinions to members of management. •Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes. •Staying up to date with developments in process optimization •Coordinating process improvement initiatives that are measurable and drive value for the organization. •Identifies opportunities, champions proposals, deploys solutions, measures, and tracks benefits. •Assesses the performance and capability of processes and teams through throughput, cycle times, and productivity indicators. •Develops and maintains a roadmap of process improvement at a site level. •Acts as the point of contact for Lean Solutions methodology and best practices for the site. •Any Admin duties assigned by Manager Health and Safety oCollect and maintain H&S related documentation including JHSC minutes, training records, incident reports, oPrepare and distribute H&S related documentation in multiple formats to sites management oCollect H&S Data and maintain database for the site oDevelop Corrective Action Plans, (CAP’s), based on internal H&S Audits oLiaise with site leadership to maintain and update CAP’s oCoordinate and facilitate training events oAttend and monitor the Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings at the site oSupport the various H&S audit and inspection processes at the site oRespond to H&S related enquires received from within the Canadian network oRepresent the organization at any WSIB meetings held throughout the year oSupport the Return-to-Work Program and claims management oCoordinate and support the site in the sourcing and supply of H&S related products and services oRecord and maintain meeting minutes of site team meetings pertaining to H&S oConduct employee awareness training oConduct Hazard Assessments, through task analysis, physical demands analysis, risk assessments and workplace inspections; Recommending and/or implementing corrective action oContribute to the creation of and/or maintenance of instructional documents, such as SSOP, work procedures and training documents
