Senior Java Developer

Schenker Technology Center is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join the "Market Facing Platforms" Tribe. This tribe focuses on optimising user experience and customer interaction, enhancing digital platforms, and creating additional customer-centred services. The Senior Java Developer is responsible for the design and development of back-end systems and services, taking into account the latest technological developments and architectures. Your tasks:

• Design and communications of architectures for components or systems
• Development of software
• Optimization of software and the development process
• Code review
• Documentation of software and processes
• Teach others

Our requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java and Webflux
• Kotlin (nice to have)
• Excellent knowledge of Spring framework
• Good knowledge of databases, Kafka, Redis and Security
• Fluency in English
• Experience in an international work environment
