Position Description Summary: Responsible for conducting quality audits within the organization to ensure continued compliance with the Quality Management System and the maintenance of ISO 9001-2008 certification. Participate in development and delivery of a strategy that enhances continual improvement and adheres to ISO 9001 quality requirements while promoting location ownership and responsibility. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): · Conduct internal and coordinate external quality audits Ensure that audits meet the current ISO standards · Ensure all administrative aspects of quality audit activities are complied with, implemented, and have closure, including setting audit schedules, assigning audit dates and auditors to their tasks · Ensure that non-conformities are properly reported, documented and communicated · Determine if management intervention is necessary to address NCNs and the audit results · Facilitate branch root cause analysis, adequate action and improvement strategy Follow up and monitor improvements to provide communication & promote sharing of best practices among all locations
Essential Functions: * Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests. Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): * This is an intermediate level position. * Thorough knowledge of auditor practices and the ISO 9001:2000 Standards including how to apply the proper interpretation of the Standards in actual internal audit situations is required. * Must have experience conducting internal audits; and know how to manage the audit process including opening meetings, auditing, closing meetings and reporting. * Familiar with quality philosophies, quality administrative procedures and applications of quality objectives. * Technical writing skills are a plus. * Solid interpersonal and analytical skills required. * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred. * Generally prefer 1-4 years of related experience. * Experience conducting audits within a service industry a plus.
